NZWP National Awards 2024

Who will be the 2024 category winners? We would love to hear who you think deserves to be acknowledged for being exceptional!  Is it your coach?  Is it your teammate?  Your club?  Maybe someone on your committee who is dedicating their time to making your club run smoothly?  Is there a referee who does an amazing job?  Or a team that has done great things in 2024?

Awards will be presented at the 2024 National Awards ceremony.

2024 National Awards Ceremony tickets:

Our 2024 National Awards Ceremony will be held in Auckland on Saturday, 5 April 2025 at 6:30pm at the Novotel Ellerslie.

2024 National Awards nominations are now closed:

Nominations for category awards must be received by Wednesday, 19 February 2025. Nominations are invited from anyone including individuals, schools, clubs and centres, and are to be completed via the relevant online nomination form.

Finalists will be announced on Saturday, 15 March 2025.

The NZWP Awards Panel will consider and shortlist finalists. A minimum of three finalists per category. Finalists will be notified and their names published on the NZWP website and social media. Finalists will be invited to the 2024 National Awards ceremony.

The NZWP Awards Panel:

The NZWP Awards Panel includes a regional representative and a High Performance coach. 

The NZWP office also provides input to the panel to provide information and context to the Awards Selection Panel. 

The remaining members of the NZWP Awards Panel are to be kept confidential.
