Hibiscus Coast Water Polo - Head Coach

Hibiscus Coast Water Polo is on the hunt for a part time head coach.

We are looking for someone who has possibly worked under professional coaches, have some professional coaching experience themselves, but are also willing to expand their coaching knowledge and abilities on the job. You will oversee a coaching team of 5-10 teenage player/coaches and personally coach 1-2 teams to begin with. This is a paid role and open to negotiations about rates.

NZWP Volunteer Vacancies

National Teams Selection Panel

NZ Water Polo (NZWP) is seeking to recruit and appoint suitably qualified and experienced people to its National Teams Selection Panel.

This role will involve selecting for the National Representative Teams including U16, U18, U20 and Senior World Aquatics World Championships, Olympic Games, Australian State Championships and any other pinnacle events. Selectors must:

• follow a transparent, unbiased, and understood selection system for NZWP athletes and coaches
• ensure all criteria is met in accordance with the selection policies and processes
• select athletes to National Representative teams in a timely and professional manner
• select athletes in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures
• maintain appropriate level of contact with the other members of the Selection Panel and the Convener to enable fulfilment of the role
• assist with input, reviewing and feedback regarding the selection criteria, plans, processes and policies as required
• be available throughout all processes
