Official Update: 2025 16U Division 1 National Championships

Water Polo New Zealand confirms the following changes to the 2025 16U Division 1 National Championships:

New Location: Auckland
New Dates: 24–27 September 2025
Divisions: Div 1 Boys & Girls

This adjustment has been made to avoid a direct scheduling conflict with the Australian U15/U17 State Championships (30 September – 4 October 2025), which will involve a significant number of WPNZ athletes and coaches (60 athletes and 12 coaches/managers). The State Championships is an event we value and is an integral part of WPNZ athlete development programme.

WPNZ acknowledges the impact of this change, particularly for those who had committed to the original dates and location. We are here to help and appreciate the community’s understanding and continued support while we work through the implications.
