New Events for 2025

We will be introducing some new events and some new divisions to current events in 2025. 

Autumn/Winter Festival – we are expanding this successful Auckland event to East, Central and South, being hosted in 2025 by Hawke’s Bay, Wellington and Christchurch. 

Senior South Island Division 2 – introducing a Mixed grade to the SISS Senior Championships, being hosted in Invercargill for 2025. This event will provide all South Island schools an event which previously has not been available. Under the SSSNZ Cup rules, schools will be able to create composite teams, which we are hopeful this will mean a favourable uptake of this new event. 

Senior North Island and Nationals Division 2 – in 2025 we will split the Div 2 Boys/Mixed grade into two – Div 2 Boys and Div 2 Mixed. Under the SSSNZ Cup rules, schools will be able to create composite teams, which we are hopeful this will mean a favourable uptake of this new Mixed event.

Entry Deadlines

These will be confirmed shortly and added to the events. 

Senior North Island and Nationals – expressions for entries will close Term 4, exact date tbc. Teams will be asked to enter the event in Term 4, and confirm their position in early 2025. We will not be able to accept teams that have not expressed their entry in Term 4.
