WPNZ Secures IOC Olympic Solidarity Funding Through NZOC for Development of a National Sports Structure

WPNZ is pleased to announce their application to the NZOC to support referee development and education was successful which will see the continuation of development, education, and qualifying national referees through a structured national system.

This one-year funding will support the growth and development of our refereeing program. Referees play a large part in the enjoyment of water polo games, controlling the tempo, enforcing the rules, and ensuring player safety. We look forward to undertaking this work, growing referee numbers throughout NZ, and providing further opportunities to progress from Local level to World Aquatics International level.
