New Zealand Teams Prepare for Australian State Championships

Water Polo New Zealand is excited to see our four age-group teams compete at the 2026 Australian National State Championships in Melbourne from 29 September – 3 October.

Our 15&U and 17&U men’s and women’s teams will take on leading state sides from across Australia, providing a valuable opportunity to gain international experience, challenge themselves against new opposition and continue developing their game.

The tournament will feature pool play followed by finals, with our teams set to experience a week of high-level competition and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

We wish our players and coaches all the best as they prepare for the championships and look forward to following their journey across the Tasman. Kia kaha, New Zealand!
