Key Updates to World Aquatics Competition Regulations Announced

World Aquatics has released an updated version of its Competition Regulations, including comprehensive revisions to Part Six – Water Polo. These aim to improve clarity, consistency, and alignment with current practice.
The amendments are made in regard to:
- Competition structure, officiating, and team composition.
- Possession, shot clock, and field of play rules.
- Disciplinary procedures, VAR, Coach’s Challenges, and Penalty Shootouts.
- Tournament points and tie-breaking processes.
