2026 WPNZ Competition Calendar Released

Updates for 2026

In 2026, WPNZ will be expanding competitions with new divisions and additional event locations.

Winter Festival Year 7 & 8 - Following the success of newly added events in 2025, WPNZ will continue to deliver events in Christchurch and Wellington, with Hamilton joining as a new host city for 2026.

South Island Senior Secondary Schools - 2026 will see this competition introduce Boys and Girls Division 2 grades to accompany the existing Mixed event. These additions will provide South Island schools with more competitive pathways, supporting increased participation and development across the region.

Suzuki National Water Polo Club League – The NWPL will also continue to expand in 2026, with the introduction of the Waikato Men’s team.
